Kirstin, from a class demonstration

This is the final result of a demonstration I did for (and along with) a class that just wound up their semester at the New Hampshire Institute of Art in Manchester.

I had such a great experience teaching this class, that I was compelled to put together a demo for this site. You may view the process by which this portrait from life came together by clicking here, or traveling to the main menu and clicking on "Subject-specific Demos."

If I may, I'd like to give a heartfelt thanks to Karin Wells, Linda Brandon and Cynthia Daniel for guidance, encouragement and opportunity. You are all wonderful!

Oil on linen mounted to a birch panel, 12" x 10".
