She is only a fragment of a large pastel, 84"x41". She is another dancer, but alas, she is nude on top, so I cannot show the rest.

She is wearing a magenta skirt against an antique teal silk Chinese tapestry. I get a great deal of inspiration from Asian art and their color sophistication, in my opinion, far exceeds a good deal of what has been done in the west. There are of course, exceptions, a few of my favorites being, Turner, Frieseke, Monet and Degas.
