Charcoal and NuPastel on toned Canson




Charcoal is a great choice for open studio, at least for me, because I can never get very close to finishing in oil.

Even here, I would have liked a little more time to deal with my edges, and some of the more subtle values around the lips.

Image size is approximately 18" x 14".
