I was playing with some different lighting equipment and got this shot of my daughter, Lexie (perhaps you have seen her face here before. That is because she is my only cooperative child / model.)

Not that I am comparing mine to the work of a master, not so. But it reminded me of "Girl with a pearl earring" so I thought I would share it.

Actually, these final two say a lot about Lexie's personality. She is an absolute hoot to be around. But, when asked to be serious, I get lovely photos of her.

Tell us the technical aspects of the photos, i. e., your camera and lighting, etc. I think no. 1 is such a good source photo, and would like to know more.
