Untitled - peasant girl
40" x 30", oil. Michele mentioned the background taking over in WIP. It has taken over even more. I am not sure I mind. Please tell me what you think about that, or anything you notice that may need help.
I apologize, the photos are not as clear as they could be.

With the new upgrade, you can now add attachments to your original message instead of having to post again. Nice feature!

I was just looking at your photos posted in the other thread and this was my favorite one - I am happy to see it coming along beautifully. I just love your work, obviously cannot critique, but did want to tell you how much I admire your work...

Not at all. I really like the setting and she is posed delightfully enjoying her surroundings, so there seems to be a communication between nature and the young lady. Think there is atmosphere that pulls you in. Can't wait to see it finished.

Actually, yes. I'd like to see more color perspective used, so the background recedes better. Very nicely painted, but needs that depth.
