Jinny, PR Director, Writer
I am trying to catch up before the June workshop hurricane hits.
This is Jinny, 26" x 20", oil on linen. For fun we put her husband as a mini portrait in the book.

You can find one of the reference photos in the reference photo critique section.
Here is a close-up:

Expressive
This one, like your former, is very expressive and personal. I think I see some glare? It's well composed, too.

Beth,
Having seen this painting in person, the photograph doesn't do it justice. You have really captured her personality. It's hard to paint wrinkles without them looking too linear but you have succeeded nicely. Great job, keep it up!

Elizbeth,
I am so impressed! You just keep getting better and better. Prolific too---a veritable painting dervish!

Beth, what a great portrait. It's so full of life; her personality really shines through. It also looks as though it was great fun to paint; I love her expression.

Thank you for your kind, encouraging comments.
I did post new digitals above, so hopefully they are better.
