Me

This is a brief friendly-type bio, befitting this Forum, I hope. I paint oils of people and stuff. Sometimes I do figures in interiors and outside in landscapes. I paint landscapes outside and still lifes inside...pretty simple really. I work almost always from life. I have 5 galleries now repping my work from LA to the East coast.

I'm a married father of 5 children. My youngest, my 6 year-old daughter is my born artist. Boy is she going to get spoiled!

Here's me at work on a demo in Taos. I teach 6 or 7 workshops around the US...Scottsdale Artists School in April, 2003.

Hey, Tim, you look almost Gogh-tee-ish there. Actually, I'd seen the "look" in the magazine article's artist blurb, and found it illuminating, adds about 15 years of nobility in the profession. I think you want to replace the SOG photo with a newer, hairy version.

Good on you for doing the workshop gigs. Hard work, but lots of grindstone-career folks are inspired thereby toward interests and talents that they might never have otherwise investigated, and your -- and their -- lives are all the better for it.

BTW, I've been trying to kill the moustache, a royal pain, and everyone says No NO don't, so be careful how long you do the bearded thing. You may be stuck with it.

Best wishes.

Small children

I know what you mean Steven, I recently did lose the hair and several of the small children that run around here at our house were not sure they knew me.
