Colin & Vegas




I'm sure you can guess which is Colin and which is Vegas!

I've really seen this past yeat that I enjoy painting is a style that blends realism and impressionism. Sometimes I think my work is more of an illustrator than an artist.
I composed this with the leg in there so that the viewer knows an adult was supervising the child giving the cookie. Also, it helped put Colin in the center of the composition oherwise the dog would have gained importance if symetrical. Lastly, Everyone knows in this family that that's gramps leg just by his shoes, so it's actually a point of endearment for the family.
