Hurricanes and now volcanoes!

Is anyone in the potential path of Mount St. Helens devastation and/or fallout should it blow?

Mount St. Helens is quite far away from Seattle so there's no danger to us here. Even a big eruption would not impact any towns, except with perhaps some clouds of ash overhead. Hikers, loggers and tourists have been told to clear out of the immediate area, but very few people live nearby. That's a relief!

Michele.....I was actually thinking about running down there to try to capture the eminent erupton....especially at nightfall! I've always wanted to do a painting of an erupting volcano ever since staying in Hawaii for awhile.

Of course it would be my luck for it to be three times bigger than the one in '80.

Just kidding.....my wife would go nuts if I tried that. She had her fill of me years ago when we lived on the coastline of California and I'd go right down to the shoreline and watch 30 ft. winter breakers crash on the rocks. I would nearly get washed in at times.
