Gary

Hi, I've been playing with my camera and would like your opinion on this photo. I was looking for reflected light in skin tones and can easily see the red and greens in his face. This is not on very high resolution as I wasn't expecting to get a photo like this, but am considering doing a pastel based on it. This photo is also unusual, in that the model feels he is one of those hard to photograph people. By chance, this handsome man actually looks handsome in the photo.

Close up

Hopefully this will be a close up of his face. Again the colors look more vivid on my monitor than in actuality. If this looks too bright to everyone please let me know and I'll try to tone it down more.

Black and white

I've lightened the image and converted to b&w in the hopes that values can be seen better.

Close up b&w

Okay, I've lightened it more and cropped. On the original photo I can see every hair in the shadow portion at the top of his head. I hope that I've lightened enough this time to show you what I see. I'd really like to show a half way decent photo once.
