I'm surprised you've received no feedback on this little jewel. I think you've captured the misery and boredom of this boy's (your son's?) illness superbly. I'm impressed that you were able to do so in only 3 hours. The economy of brush work is to be admired. The only thing that bothers me is the great disparity of size between the left and right eyes. Even logical use of perspective does not seem to account for it. I am, however, hardly an expert. I wish some of the more knowledgable members of the board would give this work the attention it deserves.
