All Hale!
Lilian Hale, "Zeffy in Bed" I've always liked this artist's work. She studied with Chase.

Very nice painting. I'm not familiar with her work but will take the time to find more paintings. Thanks Tim for sharing this work.

Jim, isn't that a brave design? I think the overall brushwork is very solid too. I've always thought she was better than her husband. Her drawings are killer too.

It's too difficult to find her work. Her sister-in-law, (also worth a look) and husband were good painters in Boston. She knew Benson and the others well and you can see much of the Boston School influence and look in her outdoor work. I think it was in the interior images where her own style and power are best seen. Her drawings were really fine.

Here's another delicate design. It would be fitting I guess, herein to post examples of the whole family's work-this again is Lilian Hale.
