mike Dodson: Introducing myself

Hello everyone!

I want to take a moment and introduce myself. I have been viewing this Forum on a daily basis for about a year now and am excited to be a part.

I have been painting in oils since I was 13 (24 years). I am currently a part-time portrait artist who aspires to become full-time within the next few years. I paint from life/photos and I am a huge admirer of the "Old Masters", specifically Frans Hals, Velazquez and Sargent.

I hope to post an oil portrait soon for critique.
