I doubt it, Julia. It's still an alkyd compound, so if you paint in a layered technique, it will still present the possibility of delamination. If you finish your paintings entirely wet-in-wet, you may find it agreeable to use.
Painters are still periodically at each other's throats over mediums in general, just as they have been for decades . . . and some purveyors of art materials are still pushing their products as "clean and green" even though they are inferior to materials master painters have relied upon for over 500 years.
