Paraphrasing something I read recently about writing, "The hard part isn't the writing, the hard part is the sitting down to write."
Sounds like you've managed to deal with that "hard part" of painting.
You have a unique style and, with your computer savvy, perhaps you'll be inclined in time to post some in-progress samples showing your techniques. We can't get enough of those thousand-word pictures.
