Carlos, the painting is beautiful as always. I am intrigued by your choice of composition though and need you to explain your choice, so I can learn s.th new .

I looked at this the 1st time on my IPhone (small image) and was immediately struck that the figures, table and plates on the wall seem to form a big triangle. Unlike many compositions where the figures are inside the triangle your figures make up one side of the triangle. This is even more emphasized by the fact that the older sister is gazing down on the younger one. Then there is the downward glance of the latter, towards the arm which again leads the eye back towards the center of the painting. I find this composition interesting, because I keep wondering why none of them have been placed in the center.

So do explain, pleaase!
