New to the forum. From Brooklyn, NY
Hello,
I am new to the forum and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Adam Pessah. I recently graduated from The New York Academy of Art with an MFA. I am a very amiable person, and am just beginning my professional career as a portrait artist. I have done commissions before. My favorite part of the drawing/painting process is the point in which the various shapes of value and/or color suddenly become a persons likeness. I know it sounds corny, but it still is the most exciting and enjoyable process of the portrait for me. I work in oils and all drawing media. My preferred support to work on is wood, or prepared paper if it is a study. I still need to work on my technique to get to the level of mastery I want to acquire. However, I have a lifetime of studio practice to continue my learning process. I live in Brooklyn, New York. I wanted to introduce myself, since I am new to the forum. Feel free to email me anytime.
