Yes there is a peacock of colors! I returned to using cadmiums for this painting. If you met the kids you'd see why - they are major balls of energy and "kid-ness" . It just seemed appropriate to emphasize that, their youthful joy, and the sense of fast-moving-glistening-cool-water-on-a-hot-day through color and brushstrokes.
