Ilaria, I'm so glad you shared that information. They are wonderful drawings to copy and while the text is excellent, even those who don't read French can certainly read the pictures.
Super accurate copy drawing is the quickest way for us to hone our skills with form and likeness. I continue a regular practice of copying and it teaches me to see better, be more patient, and be willing to stay the course when the going gets rough. I still find super accurate drawing to be hard to do, but it pays off in improving my art.
I took my Bargue book to a copy center and had them cut off the book's spine and punch three holes in the pages. I keep the book in a loose-leaf binder and I can easily take pages out and make copies, either enlargements or reductions. It's very easy to scan a loose page on my flatbed scanner.
