I agree with the others that this piece gives me a strong sense of being there. I just can't get over the profound sense of depth you manage to invoke in both your indoor and outdoor paintings. Just amazing! I feel like I should be able to just reach into it.
Also, your ability to stay very painterly and yet portray a person in a super lifelike manner is wonderful. I'm am totally envious.
I definitely have to hang around and study your work!
