A couple of years back I was a lowly 18 year old, so I'm not too happy with what I posted earlier . (And I still have a long way to go before I will be happy I suppose) I haven't really posted much since because I went and lived in Russia for two years and I didn't have access to this site, and now that I'm back I'm pleasantly surprised to see how the forum has grown. It's sad to see that there has been some squabbles though.
This was drawn with a hard willow charcoal sharpened with sandpaper. It was done over several sessions. The highlights are just the white of the paper that I left. I did use a gum eraser rolled to a point to soften some of the edges.
Thanks for the feedback guys. I really appreciate it.

I'm currently painting this same model in a new pose in grisaille. It's really sad because the model just found out she has cancer.
