Christmas may have come and gone, but I finally got my brand new hardback copy of
" A Brush with Grandeur" today.
I can now say goodbye to the weekend ! ! !
It may be I've missed the boat, and everyone already has their copy of the book. But if you don't have it, I urge you to get it . It is a stunning collection of the most beautiful portraits imaginable, and there is good reference to his life in Hungary, Britain, royalty, and his contemporaries like Sargent.
You won't be disappointed!
