Leslie, I think that every Bat Mitzvah invitation shoud feature a portrait!
For my kids, I printed the portrait on the cover of the service booklet ( I was furiously printing three days prior...)
Ha, can't blame your daughter, she knows she'll still get the portrait
And yes, Alexandra is that sophisticated - she was pretty much that way at three.
