I went to the 'Academie voor de Beeldende Vorming' in Tilburg, The Netherlands. That's dutch for 'Academy for artistic development' (freely translated)

But I have to say that my real training for what I do now is the study of the old masters, after I got my degree. I didn't learn much about this kind of painting over there. But I had a good time there, looking back.
I consider the first painting my best portrait I made up till now. When I show my paintings to someone, I always show that one.
