Dorothy - Sunday Summer Morning
This is actually a small, mixed media piece (acrylic and colored pencil). It measures 12 x 12 and is a portrait of my wife relaxing on a Sunday Summer morning. I was really interested in capturing mood here. I have also been very interested recently in portraying the figure in shadow whilst not obscuring the likeness.
