Here are some thoughts I had already shared on previous discussions.

The CRI (color rendering index) indicates the accuracy of color perception under a particular light source. Ott and Verilux are rated somewhere between 90 and 94CRI. Combining two lesser quality lights will not assist the accuracy of either. Two wrongs do no make a light! (sorry, couldn't resist.)
