Just two quick comments to this post,

1) Number seven of nine on my "Untitled list of extremely succinct but nonetheless critical points which should be addressed in every painting you do....get off your duff, Peggy, and pay attention!!!", (a list, I might add, that I made up for myself...), is:

"You're a painter, paint!" Meaning paint, don't draw, with paint, and use a lot of it -- straight from the tube.

(Number three is "Squint", number five is "Kiss", as in "Keep it simple stupid". I told you it was succinct....)

2) In my opinion, Liquin brings a milky quality to the painting that I don't like.
