Sharon: I plan on spending the first twenty minute session just looking and making little landmarks - then I will start drawing.

Jean: It is important for people to realize that there is nothing to lose here at SOG. Yes, there are other professionals here and yes they are going to see your mistakes - but that is how we help each other become better painters - they are also going to see your successes and your growth. You people know what I can do with good photo reference so I have nothing to prove. Now it's time for me to learn to do the same level of work from a live subject and I am hoping others will go along for the ride.

I did use far too heavy lines for this piece. I was just so proud that I got the shape of the head right.
